Finding Hope Class 2.0

Exploring mental health and the scriptures

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:7

Everyone’s mental health journey is different and the purpose of this class is not about directing you through it. That is a journey for you and your health care professional. What we hope for in this class is to create a space where we can support each other and find God wherever we are. As we walk through the Bible (Genesis 1-11, Habakkuk, Joel, and 1 Cor.12) from a Jewish eastern perspective, our goal is that you will see how God longs to meet you in the broken places, how He accepts you in that space, and all He ask of you is to trust the story He is writing. May you see how great is His love for you and may it give you courage to continue on wrestling through the days, whether calm and peaceful or anxious and troublesome, until we see His face again.

Please take the time to read through the scripture passages prior to our meeting. If there are any discussion questions or scriptures, they will be sent the week before the class. Thank you for being a part of this adventure. Together we will make it home.
